Kanye’s Sampling – A New Direction for Yeezy’s Production Though there are many obvious differences between these projects, we’re going to examine the easily-overlooked similarities via the samples within, cataloging and exploring the sounds that comprise West’s 2018 output. They find the artist working alongside a variety of different artists, turning out hip hop, psychedelic rap and R&B projects, all of which find him calibrating and collaborating with different voices and creative visions.
